Tech billionaire Elon Musk has confirmed that his social media platform X (formerly Twitter) experienced a ‘massive ‘cyberattack’ allagedly launched by Ukrainians.
Musk revealed this in a live interview with Fox News on Monday, stating that IP addresses originating in the Ukraine region appeared to be the source of the purported hack against X.
Following around eight hours of disruptions, thousands of users—many of whom were in the United States—were unable to use the X platform yesterday. Musk said that the platform was facing a “massive cyberattack.”
