Former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olabode George, has called on President Bola Tinubu to step in and curb the actions of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, warning that the political crisis in Rivers State could spiral out of control if left unchecked.
George, who made the call in a statement on Thursday, cautioned that Wike’s provocative remarks and political maneuvering could destabilize the state and negatively impact the entire nation, particularly given Rivers’ economic significance.
In a sharp rebuke, George condemned Wike’s public outbursts, suggesting that they not only threaten Rivers State’s stability but also damage the reputation of Tinubu’s administration.
