Justice Obiora Egwatu of the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Monday adjourned the suit filed by the Senator representing the Kogi Central Senatorial District, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, to March 25, 2025.
Akpoti-Uduaghan had approached the court to restrain the Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges from proceeding with an investigation against her alleged misconduct pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice for interlocutory injunction.
The judge on March 4 granted all the prayers in Akpoti-Uduaghan’s motion, including an order declaring any action taken during the pendency of the suit as null, void and of no effect whatsoever.
