The groundwork for a fresh Local Government elections in River State has commenced as the state electoral commission has announced invited stakeholders to a meeting on Wednesday.
The public notice, signed by the chairman of RSIEC, Justice Adolphus Enebeli, invited religious leaders, political parties, media, traditional rulers and opinion leader to a robust stakeholder engagement for the preparation of council polls.
