Youths in the Niger Delta under the auspices of the Pan Niger Delta Youths (PNDY), have condemned a ruling by the Supreme Court ordering the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), to withhold monthly financial allocations to Rivers State, describing the order as economic sabotage to the people of the state.
The youth group which raised the alarm in a statement issued in Port Harcourt on Saturday, said the court verdict was capable of truncating the peace and sustainable development being provided by the hovernor, Siminalayi Fubara.
The statement which was signed by the PNDY spokesperson, Chika Adiele, faulted the judgment, saying it was infantile and an invitation to war against justice, equity and fair play.
