- Tinubu issued the suspension in a statement released by the director of information at the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Willie Bassey
- A few hours after, the DSS invited the suspended EFCC chairman Abdulrasheed Bawa for further investigation
The Department of State Services(DSS), on Wednesday night, said it has invited the suspended Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa, for further investigations.
DSS public relations director Peter Afunaya made this known in a statement issued on Wednesday night, June 14, via Twitter.
