The National Vice President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), North Central, Nazareth Bako Jesse has opened up about her experiences in the film industry.
In an exclusive interview with the filmmaker affirmed that she has been sexually harassed in the film industry because of her looks.
“Yes, of course, I have been harassed. I am not ugly I am naturally endowed, beautiful and stubborn, so, definitely, some men will want to use any means to get at me.”
Citing lack of funds as a major challenge to her dreams of owning the biggest film studios and film village in Abuja, the ex-co said, “As a daughter of the soil and a filmmaker, I have always reached out to the youth and interested individuals in my field, its in my tenure as the mayor of Abuja, AGN Gbagyiwood was created by my brother Prince Kure to bring all the sons and daughters of this kingdom who are interested in entertainment together, so far a lot of films have been shot in my dialect and we are planning to do more.”
