2023: Tinubu ambition a personal interest, not for Yoruba people — Banji Akintoye

The Leader of Ilana Omo Oodua, Professor Banji Akintoye, has declared that the ambition of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the 2023 elections, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was self-serving and not to serve the interest of Yoruba people.

Akintoye, who spoke in a statement on Thursday, dissociated himself from an earlier interview endorsing Tinubu.

In the interview two years ago, he had endorsed Tinubu for Nigeria’s presidency.
