Labour Party not broke, only needs support to fund presidential campaign —Chairman

The Chairman of Labour Party (LP), Julius Abure, has dismissed reports making the rounds that Labour Party was broke and could not fund its campaign activities.

Abure gave the clarification in a statement on Saturday following the inauguration of the party’s presidential campaign council on Friday.

Abure in the statement maintained that the former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, would not be able to sponsor the campaigns alone given the expensive nature of elections in the country.
