Amid the controversy rocking the adoption of some aspirants by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the position of Senate president and speaker of the House of Representatives, the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has emphasised the need to unify the country in zoning the National Assembly positions.
Sanwo-Olu spoke on Saturday when he received Tajudeen Abbas and Ben Kalu, the two aspirants adopted by the leadership of APC for speaker and deputy speaker respectively of the House of Representatives, among other elected lawmakers on the APC platform, in Government House, Marina, Lagos.
