The indictment of the MDAs by the Senate on Wednesday, was sequel to the consideration of the Senator Matthew Urhoghide – led Senate Committee on Public Accounts reports of 2017 and 2018 of Auditor General of the Federation.
Addressing journalists after the presentation of the reports, the Vice Chairman of Senate Public Accounts Committee, Senator Hassan Hadejia said, the committee has been able to submit four reports to the Senate, which has never happened since 1999, explaining that the 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 reports of the auditor general have been submitted and considered by Senate.
