Ex- Bayelsa Dep Gov arouses interest of Nigerian engineers in national politics

For sustainable development of infrastructural projects, Engineers have been advised to show more interest in national politics and should be given lead role at the level of policy conception through construction and maintenance of critical projects.

Speaking at this year 5th Annual Lecture and 1st Memorial Lecture of Prof. (Chief) Telimoye M. Oguara, organized by the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Yenagoa branch, former deputy governor of Bayelsa State, Engr. Rear Admiral. Gboribiogha John Jonah rtd said, if Nigeria must catch up with fast engineering economies of the world , there is need to deliberately avoid the selective application of professionals to manage critical sectors of our national lives.
