Ex U-17 player seeks financial assistance to undergo knee surgery

Samuel Mbet-obong, former player of the Under 17 Nigerian Team, has appealed to members of the public for financial assistance to help him undergo an osteoarthritis surgery.

Osteoarthritis is a type of arthritis that occurs when flexible tissue at the end of bones wears down.

Mbet-Obong, who played in the Rwanda 2011 Under 17 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers, wearing jersey number 17, made the appeal while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Calabar.
