Among the many artists pushing the Afrobeat sound, Mr Eazi has emerged as a true pioneer and ambassador of the genre, both in Africa and beyond.
Born Oluwatosin Ajibade in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, in 1991, Mr Eazi began his music career in 2012 while studying mechanical engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University in Ghana. It was here that he was introduced to the Ghanaian music scene and fell in love with the sound of highlife music, which served as an inspiration for his music.
Mr Eazi‘s sound is a fusion of different African styles, blending elements of highlife, Afrobeat, and contemporary West African pop. He has released several hit songs, including “Skin Tight,” “Leg Over,” and “Pour Me Water,” which have garnered millions of views and streams on various platforms.
