PDP suspends 2 ex-minister in powerful northern state, gives reason

  • The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kebbi state has sanctioned two ex-ministers for anti-party activities
  • The alleged were identified as Alhaji Umaru Dattiya and Kabiru Tanimu Turaki from two separate wards
  • Both men have been given 48 hours to respond to the petition filed against them by the wards

The Kebbi state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has issued a note of query to the former minister of state for foreign affairs, Buhari Bala, for allegations of anti-party activities.

As reported by the Vanguard newspaper, Bala’s query was issued on Wednesday, April 12, through Alhaji Umaru Dattiya, the chairman of the Dangaladima ward.
