Afenifere Derailed When Adebanjo Took Over – Yoruba Youths Call For Immediate Removal

The temporal leader of the group, Ayo Adebanjo, received a vote of no confidence from the organization’s youth wing, which also requested his resignation for the organization’s best interests.

YAYON made their demands known on Tuesday during the South-West Youth Leaders world press conference held in Lagos following a joint meeting of Afenifere Youth national leaders in the Yoruba territory, including Kogi and Kwara States.

Eric Oluwole, the national youth leader of the group during the press conference, also denounced the suspension of two national officers of Afenifere by Adebanjo without the group’s national leader, Reuben Fasoranti.
