Bola Tinubu, the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nigeria, has accused those behind a plot to cause a crisis leading to the postponement and disruption of the February 25 elections.
At a campaign rally in Ado-Ekiti, he stated that the plot is to provoke violence and introduce an interim government.
Tinubu urged the people to resist the plot and to ensure they have their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
He also promised that the Ekiti people, whom he described as respected intellectuals, will not be relegated if he is elected as President.
Tinubu recently also alleged plans to scuttle the 2023 general elections through fuel scarcity and redesign of the naira notes.
However, he assured the people that he will end fuel scarcity if elected, calling next month’s presidential poll a “revolution”.
