Students from various higher institutions in Lagos State, including Lagos State University (LASU), Lagos State University of Education (LASUED), University of Lagos (UNILAG), and Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), have endorsed the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for a second term.
They gathered at the Onikan Stadium and gave a carnival-like endorsement to the governor and Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat.
The governor, who expressed delight over the endorsement, said the gathering was about the future of the students to ensure their well-being.
He announced that he had gifted additional buses to the students, and emphasized the importance of creating an enabling environment for the students to thrive and compete with the world. A popular singer also endorsed Sanwo-Olu and Tinubu at the event.
