The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission and the African Development Bank (AfDB) have signed a $11.18 million agreement to enhance rice production across the sub-region.
ECOWAS announced this in a video posted on its social media platforms on Tuesday.
Speaking after the signing of the agreement in Abuja, the ECOWAS President, Omar Touray, highlighted the significance of the partnership in achieving self-sufficiency in rice production across West Africa.
