Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, has taken a swipe at former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, saying his alliance with opposition figures will not be enough to unseat an incumbent president.
El-Rufai formally announced his defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Social Democratic Party (SDP) on Monday, citing a growing disconnect between his personal values and the ruling party’s direction.
Reacting on his verified X (formerly Twitter) handle, Bwala acknowledged El-Rufai’s right to switch parties but questioned the real intent behind his decision.
