The Sokoto State government, through the Chairman of Tangaza Local Government, Hon. Isha Salihu Bashir Kalanjeni, has rejected a request from a member representing the Gudu/Tangaza constituency, Hon. Sani Yakubu, to convert a popular stadium called Gidan Madi to market stalls.
The government said reports in circulation from the Rep that the approval had been granted were untrue, describing it as “false and baseless.”
