The All Progressives Congress (APC) has explained why Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and some other party members have not been seen campaigning for the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Since the APC’s campaign launch on November 15, 2022, several party members, including the Vice President, have not been seen participating in the campaign.
The APC Presidential Campaign Council spokesman, Festus Keyamo, stated that Osinbajo is following a directive from President Muhammadu Buhari to focus on governance.
Additionally, Keyamo explained that the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, has chosen to remain neutral for personal reasons.
However, Keyamo emphasized that the APC has a strong coalition and is not facing the same issues as the opposition party, the People’s Democratic Party.
