The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), in collaboration with the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), announced on Thursday that three new indices to track price volatility would be introduced in its monthly Consumer Price Index (CPI).
The development, revealed at the sensitization workshop on Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and CPI rebasing organized in Lagos State, had the bureau assuring that the three indices would be released in January 2025.
