Police operatives in Imo last Thursday killed three suspected kidnappers in Orogwe, Owerri West local government area of the state.
The spokesman for the state police command, Henry Okoye, confirmed this in a statement on Tuesday in Owerri.
He said two others – David Ifeanyichukwu (20) and Abuchi Joseph (24) – were arrested in the operation.
