Electricity customers in Togo, Benin, Niger owe Nigeria $5.7m in Q3/24, says NERC

International customers from Togo, Benin and Niger Republic are owing $5.7 million for electricity supply from Nigeria in the third quarter (Q3) of 2024.

The international customers are Paras-SBEE and Transcorp-SBEE both from the Benin Republic; Mainstream-NIGELEC from Niger; and Odukpani-CEET from Togo.

This development was announced by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) in its latest quarterly report.
