A 63-year-old plumber, Akin Kuboye, was rescued alive by the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service after falling into a deep well in Igando, Lagos.
The incident occurred on Sunday morning at 20 Muyibi Adebayo Street, off Agric Road, Egan–Igando. According to the fire agency’s director, Margaret Adeseye, the rescue team responded promptly to the distress call at 9:54 a.m.
Kuboye reportedly got trapped while working in a 120-meter-deep well located behind a 14-room bungalow on a property spanning about 648 square meters. The Ejigbo rescue team successfully brought him out alive.
