The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has reiterated its stance on the expulsion of its 2023 presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and his Kwankwasiyya group from the party.
This decision was reaffirmed by the NNPP National Chairman, Agbo Major, during a press conference in Abuja on Friday.
According to Major, the Kwankwasiyya group has been making desperate attempts to destabilize the party, particularly the National Assembly caucus of the NNPP. He cited a recent incident where the group wrote to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, seeking to replace the Deputy Minority Leader, Aliyu Madaki, with someone not rrcognized by the party.
