Nigeria’s First Lady joins global community in condemning gender-based violence

Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has joined the rest of the world in condemning gender-based violence.

In a statement issued on Monday to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, Tinubu said gender-based violence remains one of the most widespread human rights violations worldwide.

She, therefore, called for collective action to eradicate the scourge.
