LG Polls: Stakeholders applaud Gov. Sule for inclusive leadership

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Doma South Constituency of Nasarawa State have applauded Gov. Abdullahi Sule for his all-inclusive leadership in the state.

Alhaji Musa Ibrahim, member, Nasarawa State House of Assembly (APC/Doma South Constituency), gave the commendation while briefing newsmen in Lafia.

Ibrahim said that the governor’s style of leadership has provided a direction for stakeholders to follow in the forthcoming local government elections slated for November 2.

The lawmaker said that, in line with the governor’s vision, the stakeholders in Doma Local Government have unanimously agreed on a power sharing formula to accommodate all groups and interests.

According to him, the formula would promote inclusiveness, peace, and accelerate development in the area.

“We want to thank Gov. Abdullahi Sule and the ruling APC for all inclusive leadership in the state.

“We also want to thank the Deputy Governor, Dr Emmanuel Akabe, for his wisdom in supporting the zoning of the chairmanship position in Doma Local Government Area.

“This will no doubt promote unity and peace and will reduce tension among the people ahead of the local government election,” he said.

Ibrahim, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, stated that the people of Doma South Constituency would ever remain grateful to the governor and his deputy for the gesture.

The lawmaker appealed to aspirants and other stakeholders to support the efforts aimed at promoting democracy at the grassroots.
