Obi had initially pledged the N20million to the institution, including 15 others, but over paid them by N2.5million while redeeming the pledge, but the hospital management reported the incident to him. This prompted the former governor to make additional N10million donation to them for showing transparency.
Obi who paid a visit to the institution at the weekend handed the check of additional N10million to the management, promising to keep supporting health and educational institutions across the state.
