The Supreme Court on Friday upheld Governor Hope Uzodimma’s victory in the November 11, 2023 governorship election in Imo State.
A five-member panel of the apex court dismissed the appeal filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its governorship candidate, Samuel Anyanwu, for lack of merit.
The Court of Appeal, Abuja, July 16, dismissed the appeal filed by the PDP and its candidate challenging the decision of the Imo State governorship election petition tribunal to uphold the governor’s victory in the poll.
