Appeal Court vacates order barring Secondus, 2 others from PDP meetings

The Court of Appeal, Abuja, on Friday set aside orders that barred the former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Uche Secondus, and two others from attending any meeting of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC).

The other affected party chieftains are sacked Rivers State Governor, Celestine Omehia and a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Austin Opara.

Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court, Abuja, on April 5 barred the three PDP chieftains from attending any meeting of the party’s NEC or participating in deliberations concerning the party in any manner.
