Nigeria’s women under 18 handball team have now been defeated in their opening two matches after they suffered a 26-9 loss to Montenegro on Thursday at the IHF Women’s Under 18 Handball World Championship in Chuzhou, China.
Unlike their match the previous day where they had more shots than their opponent but didn’t utilize, Nigeria had low shot ratio and it reflected as they could only score 6 goals while Montenegro, on the back of their defensive performance, scored 13 goals in the second half.
