In counting the loses, it stated that 32,837 houses and 16,488 hectares of farmlands with crops have also been damaged.

This was disclosed in a statement on Thursday by the Head of Press, Manzo Ezekiel, who said the data was from its Emergency Operations Centre which was established for the flood monitoring and coordination of resource deployment.
