This disagreement resulted in Jadon Sancho being loaned back to his former club, Borussia Dortmund, in January 2024.
During his time at Dortmund, Sancho played a significant role in the team’s success, including reaching the UEFA Champions League final, where they were defeated by Real Madrid. Following a meeting earlier in the week between Ten Hag and Sancho, both parties agreed to put their differences behind them.
