‘Let Nigerians breath,’ PRP tells Tinubu to halt implementation of IMF, World Bank ‘failed’ economic policies

The People’s Redemption Party (PRP), has called on President Bola Tinubu to imbibe the spirit of the slogan created by Senate President Godswill Akpabio and ‘let Nigerians breath.’

Akpabio had become famous during a plenary last year when he coined the slogan and the PRP, in a statement on Thursday, urged Tinubu to let Nigerians breath in the face of the unbearable hardship and poverty in the country as a result of his policies.

A statement issued on Thursday by the National Chairman of the PRP, Falalu Bello, said the current situation in the country calls for concerns as ordinary citizens were going through tough times.
