The Justice Forum, a human rights organization has called on the Nigeria Police Force to immediately arrest and prosecute the leader of the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) Professor Ishaq Akintola and a young man in a viral video for spreading false information aimed at inciting violence in Sokoto State.
The group made the call in a statement signed by its Director of Strategic Communications , Ibrahim Isa, citing “the need to hold accountable those who recklessly spread falsehoods and put lives at risk anywhere in Nigeria.”
