DStv and GOtv: Multichoice Readjusts Subscription Prices After Losing Customers

MultiChoice has revised its subscription costs for DStv and GOtv customers in Nigeria in response to a court decision directing it to stop raising prices.

After disclosing a drop in its Nigerian subscriber base that resulted in the loss of over a million users, the business vowed to appeal the Competition and Consumer Protection Tribunal’s verdict in Abuja.

However, Nigerians bitterly protested against the price hike in the subscription packages. This reaction promoted the reverse of prices by the company.
