Super Eagles star Kelechi Iheanacho recently liked a post by Aston Villa on X (formerly Twitter), further fueling speculation about his transfer move away from Leicester City, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Nigerian attacker’s contract with the Foxes ends in June, and reports suggest that the newly promoted side is not planning to extend his stay at the King Power Stadium.
Top clubs, including Aston Villa, which recently secured a UEFA Champions League spot for the upcoming season, are showing strong interest in him, along with other clubs like Everton.
Iheanacho recently liked a post celebrating Ollie Watkins as Villa’s player of the season, adding to the transfer speculation.

Super Eagles striker Iheanacho has hinted that Leicester City fans will miss him when he leaves in the summer transfer window.
Aston Villa has shown long-term interest in Iheanacho, having attempted to sign him four years ago.
After Leicester’s final game of the season against Blackburn Rovers, Iheanacho was seen wearing a t-shirt with the inscription, “We’ve got HISTORY. When I’m gone, you gonna miss me.”
