World Bank warns Naira redesign may affect poor Nigerians

The World Bank has expressed concerns over the redesign of the Naira notes by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

President Muhammadu Buhari unveiled the newly designed N1,000, N500, and N200 notes last month.

The apex bank will withdraw the old Naira notes from circulation on January 31, 2023.
