As Deltans from across the 25 local government areas of Delta State put their acts together to receive their hero and former Deputy Senate President, His Excellency, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, CFR, into Delta State, Honourable Commissioner the National Assembly Service Commission, Chief Francis Atanomeyovwi urged Deltans to keep hope alive and roll out the drums in celebration of the man who fought devious adversaries in Delta State in the 2023 battle cry against the political forces that held the state down for many years.
In a statement he personally signed and released to newsmen on Friday ahead of the hosting of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege on Saturday April 6, 2024 at Ughelli, Chief Atanomeyovwi extolled H. E. Senator Ovie Omo Agege as a brave man who entered the trenches in search of a better way of taking Delta State to greater heights, urging all men of goodwill irrespective of political party affiliation to come out in their numbers to receive the hero of the 2023 general elections.
