I Never Said Opposition Parties Are Not Needed In My Govt, Says Nwifuru

ABAKALIKI – Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru has described as false, myopic and ill-intended, a media report which quoted him to have said he did not need the candidate of the PDP in the last governorship election, Chief Ifeanyi Odii and his APGA counterpart, Professor Benard Odoh and their supporters in his government.

The Governor who made the clarification at the Weekend in a statement signed by the State Commissioner for Information and State Orientation, Engr Jude Okpor, said it was quite unfortunate that the well-intended and articulate address of the Governor was mischievously lifted in part and quoted out of context for some clandestine reasons.
