Chief Tonobok Okowa, chairman of Delta State Sports Commission, has said that the state would go all the way at the ongoing National Sports Festival, tagged ‘Delta 2022.
While addressing journalists, the president of Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) praised Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for the state’s massive investment in sports, saying that the state has winning formula because Delta remained the home of sports on the country. He noted that the host has a winning formula to win the National Sports Festival and set a standard for other states jostling to host the next edition to beat.
