30 days after Tinubu’s truce: Aiyedatiwa now governor, pledges Ondo people welfare

The acting governor of Ondo state, Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa, has been  sworn in as substantive chief executive of the state, with a promise to make the welfare of the people a major priority of his administration.

Aiyedatiwa’s inauguration came some 30 days after he survived an impeachment move by the State House of Assembly following a truce called between him and the lawmakers by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu November 25.
