FCCPC Imposes $110m Fine On British American Tobacco Company For Consumer Act Violation

The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has slammed a $110m fine on British American Tobacco (Nigeria) Limited with respect to a range of infringements of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act, National Tobacco Control Act and sundry legal instruments.

The fine is contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by the FCCPC, which was signed by the Management of the Commission.
