Nigerian singer and songwriter David Adedeji Adeleke, better known as Davido, announced to his followers on Twitter that he has surpassed Burna Boy, Wizkid, Rema, and others as the most streamed Afrobeat artist globally.

Davido shared three charts in the aforementioned post, which has received a lot of attention. In one, he was named the most streamed Afrobeat artist in the world for 2023.
