Nigeria will host the Union of African Karate Federations (UFAK) African West Region 2 International Karate Championship for Cadet, Junior and Senior categories.
The Championship is scheduled to take place at the Moshood Abiola Stadium velodrome (Package A) from 22nd to 23rd December, 2023.
Speaking on the tournament, Technical Director of Karate Federation of Nigeria (KFN), Sensei Dave Jegede said that over 108 karatekas have registered for the championship with Nigeria fielding 44 athletes.
