MAKURDI – The immediate past Governor of Benue State, Chief Samuel Ortom has hailed the Senate, which is the Upper Legislative chamber of the National Assembly (NASS) for condemning the illegal dissolution of Councils of Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the state.
Ortom also described the move by the NASS as a commitment to upholding the democratic principles and ensuring that the autonomy of Local Government (LG), administration across the country was upheld, also hailed Senator Abba Moro, Benue South senatorial district for his motion that drew the attention of the Senate to sack of the Council chairmen in the state.
