Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, disclosed this during an interview on Channels Television, addressing the challenges Nigerians face abroad in renewing their passports at foreign missions.
While the minister had earlier cleared the backlog of over 200,000 passports awaiting processing within Nigeria, Nigerians living abroad have expressed concerns over the sluggish pace of their passport renewal and collection procedures.
