Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church for God (RCCG); Bishop David Oyedepo, his Living Faith Church counterpart, among other church leaders may be forced to step aside as the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRC) has said it will reintroduce the corporate governance code for churches and not-for-profit organisations.
The code which was first introduced in 2016 by the FRC, under the leadership of Jim Obazee, was meant for religious, charitable, educational, professional and scientific, and social and recreational organisations.
